MK Rally 2023 – visual identity for a rally
MK Rally is a rally across Russia, which is now in its third year. The first event took place in 2021, at which time we developed not only the visual design of the rally, but also a custom font. In 2022 we relied on the heraldry of the cities along the route to create the MK Rally's identity.
In 2023, we were again entrusted with the development of visual identity for a rally through the northern cities of Russia from Moscow to Murmansk. The request was for northern aesthetics, so we were inspired by natural motifs - mosses, tree bark, geography of the region - maps and coordinates of the route cities, as well as such a unique phenomenon as the northern lights. We conveyed the dynamics of the rally through the blurred contours of the images - as if you were looking out of the window of a fast-moving car. Let's ride!
